As a hunter in the modern world, I make a conscious decision to kill for food. I choose not to simply go to the grocery store and pick out a slab of beef and a bag of carrots, but to actively partake in the process; to harvest for myself. It is through hunting that I feel such a strong bond to God, nature, and life. To participate in life and death and the natural cycle allows me a deep respect for the outdoors and the plants and animals put on this earth.
Each time I harvest an animal, I am humbled with the fact I just took the life of something else to sustain my own. With respect in mind for my harvests, I chose to create this web page to share how I use not only the meat of my harvest, but any other part I can think of in hopes to inspire others to think beyond the hunt.
